Hey Everyone,
I would like to share with you two incredible articles I have recently come across, both of which frame the current crises humanity and Planet Earth face very clearly.

The first piece was published in the New York Times, and establishes 2008 as the year of "The Great Disruption". It is encouraging to see such a big media player starting to connect the dots between the myriad of breakdowns we are witnessing, and shining light on the possibility that there are larger, fundamental shifts that need to occur:

The second article provided here is incredible, and offers solutions. Written by Monica Sharma M.D., Director of Leadership and Capacity Development at the United Nations, the piece begins "we are living in a time of whole system transition on a personal and planetary scale that affects every aspect of life as we know it":

As one of the main people involved with the U.N.'s efforts of combating AIDS/HIV for the past 20 years, Monica is a shining example of someone not afraid to address the ROOT causes of our problems. Each of us must literally become "the change we want to see in the world".

I have had the honor to get to know Monica over the last several weeks, and her teaching methods of how to cause 'systematic change' is inspiring and timely.
